Our Doctors and Staff
Peter
Giesswein, M.D. graduated from the medical school at Albert Ludwig’s
University in Freiburg, Germany . He completed residency training in General
Surgery at York Hospital, and his plastic and reconstructive surgery residency
at The Pennsylvania State University—Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
Dr. Giesswein
completed an Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship in Los Angeles and has done
advanced training under internationally respected plastic surgeons in
Los Angeles, Brazil, and Germany. He has held academic teaching positions
at the University of Mississippi and The Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Giesswein has been featured on PRO 7 TV, WDR TV, NDR TV, and Vogue
Magazine. |

He
is board certified in plastic and reconstructive surgery in both Germany
and the United States. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons and the co-founder and member of the German Association for Plastic
Surgeons, Chapter Berlin. Dr. Giesswein was selected to be listed in the
2004-2005 Guide to America’s Top Surgeons, published by the Consumers’
Research Council of America, based on his experience, training, professional
associations, and board certifications.
